Gorgeous Cheap Jewelry Boxes!

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Getting the products I needed for the ceremony and reception required some thought, but as I turned my attention to getting a present for my bridesmaids, it dawned on me that I had a long ways to go yet. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. I went online and there are quite a few lovely gifts for bridesmaids and all that attend the reception. But the hard part was picking out which was the best to buy. I stumbled across some wonderful low-priced thank you items as well. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. I saved a ton on that. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
While looking for the thank you gifts for my bridesmaids, I found a very lovely jewelry box I thought they all might like to have. In fact there were a few nice wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. The choices for what to get my bridesmaids were so many that I finally just went back to planning the rest of the wedding because my head was spinning. I had some shopping to do yet for the reception; the ceremony was pretty well set. One thing that was on my plate, so to speak, was finding a wedding cake topper, and another was picking out wedding gifts for my friends and relatives, so I paid attention to those two next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. With all of the rest of it out of the way, it was time to make the call on a present for my bridemaids. I bought them all a piece of unique wedding jewelry, and I put it in jewelry gift boxes. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. The quality of the jewelry is top-notch, and the prices are deeply discounted. The girls really loved their thank you gifts and I guess the guys were happy with what my fiance chose for them too.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Is it just coincidence, or is it fate? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Only time will tell.

Some Wonderful Unique Baby Shower Gifts…

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

There are a load of options available to you if you want to host a baby shower, and that number is expanding as the popularity and size of showers gets larger and larger. Check out the web and you’ll find plenty of ideas and advice for how to throw a baby shower party, along with great options for gifts. The day can be everything you want it to be if you get the right supplies and accessories for the party. Place card holders or shower favors or whatever you want can be found on the net.
Looking for a baby boy shower gift? Something like a kid-themed cartoon photo book or growth chart for the wall, or even a teddy bear night-light would be an excellent choice if they’re looking for something to decorate the newborn’s room. There are bath soaps and other creative baby shower gifts, like a diaper cake with pacifiers and itty-bitty toys all around it. This festive-looking cake can have almost anything for an infant added to it. One great thing to do for the woman who’s about to be a mom is to get her some personalized baby shower gifts. One of my favorite gifts for babies is the first tooth and curl containers. The baby’s mom will enjoy having a silver plated container to cherish forever. As with many things, there are ones with blue liner for boys and ones with pink liner for girls. Those small, unique things are what you want to always have a memory of, like the child’s footprints and handprints. Although some people like to give things like strollers and playpens, you’d be surprised how much the little things really count. You can find cheap baby shower gifts that are also very desirable. Some products are always needed by moms with a newborn. A lot of guests choose to buy baby clothes such as socks, shoes, dresses, etc. instead of going the more expensive route with cribs, strollers, or car seats. No matter what the present is, rest assured that the expectant mother can find a use for it.
The best baby shower gifts are often the ones you utilize every single day, like diapers, a diaper bag, or a baby carrier. There is a treasure trove of options out there on the world wide web if you’re looking to get a present for a woman who’s about to have a baby. If you are giving the baby shower, remember the little gifts for the guests to take home with them. Something like a tiny picture frame or a photo album would make great baby shower party gifts for a guest. You can buy everyone little candies as well, say a box with baby designs that has cream-filled chocolates inside. You have a lot of ideas to pick from when you’re getting a gift for your baby shower guests. When you get a bunch of presents that you’re going to use as thank you gifts, you can also keep some of them out to be given away as prizes for winning the baby shower games you play.
Checking on the web will give you all the ideas and choices you could want for baby shower gifts, no matter if you’re attending as a guest or if you’re the one who’s throwing the shower. Splendid Wedding Books!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

There are so many events in your life that you want to hold on to, that you can look back on later in life with fond memories. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to the memories of. I have photo memory books that I really cherish to help my relive those special days over and over again. I have my girls night out wedding book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a fantastic wedding shower. I’ve got so many great pics of that very special night I shared with my friends. The pretty things they had arranged at the party and the exciting places we went to, that evening, were all caught on film. We really had a wild time and I’ve got super photos to prove it. I’ve even got a couple pictures of the male dancers we went to see. They knew how to work the crowd. I won’t soon forget my only night watching men dance like that. They may not have been in Playgirl, but they were definitely worth seeing.
I got a wedding memory book along with everything else I was buying when I was preparing for our wedding. There were an awful lot of photos to fill the pages. In fact I knew to buy a couple of them, so I’d have enough space for all the pictures. Once the books were full, I still had pictures left over. On certain pages in one of the picture album books were places for the guests we invited to write their names down. Our last initial was on the front of our beautiful personalized memory books, with my first initial to the left of it and my husband’s to the right of it. These books have such a look of elegance with it’s satin ribbon and gorgeous fabric. There are also refill pages available if needed, and we certainly need them.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. The number of keepsake memory books I have will only go up since I hang on to them all. At the moment, I have books from my baby shower, wedding, and bachelorette party. I have a little girl that’s turning three next week and a little baby boy that is only one year old. We got her a pink book and him a blue one because we decided to find out ahead of time what sex they’d be. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. We have fingerprints, birth certificates, and regular pictures of them in the baby memory books. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. I could open up a photo gallery with all of the pictures I have stored away.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. With the new video camera I just bought, it’s going to be a little different, because now I have to clear room on some shelves in the den for the videos I’ll be making. I’ll probably have to make a lot more room, considering all the memory books we have and the ones I’ll be collecting through the next few years, plus plenty of videos of the kids growing up. What can I say, my recollections of the past mean a lot to me. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.

Personalized Keepsake Gifts

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. That’s why I decided to choose my accessories and gifts with the thought of momentos in mind. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. Eventually I got to a wedding invitation keepsake after picking out keepsake gifts. There were plenty of plans and products available online for creating an enjoyable wedding day experience. Whatever I needed for my reception, I found it there.
My reception table centerpieces had flowers and scented candles surrounded by lace in a ceramic candle holder. .
I found some precious little picture frames with beads around them that I could use for my place card holders. As far as gifts for our guests went, I made sure I gave them all practical favors that would also make great cheap keepsake gifts. I just never saw the point to giving out wedding favors that no one can get any use out of. Those kind of party favors just end up in the trash or sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. I wanted our friends and family to have something they will hang on to and remember sharing our special day with us every time they use it. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. They attractive and you can get good use out of them, too. They came in their own little packages, so I didn’t have to worry about finding favor boxes, I just ordered some festive hang tags to put on each one.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. One super item we picked out was our wedding cake topper. I decided to go with something with special meaning to us.
Playing football in a friend’s yard is what we were doing the first time we met. I got a couple in wedding garb in the middle of a football game to remind us that his first move on me was when he was trying to tackle me. The memories of my wedding day and the day we first met are both triggered by that cake topper. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

Ubique Wedding Guest Book Set!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Planning a wedding and reception can be a very hectic and exciting time, filled with so many options on what to choose for themes, decorations, etc. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. First she didn’t know if she wanted a themed wedding or if she would rather go with a traditional ceremony and reception. My poor daughter examined every option for the type of wedding she would have, and she was unable to select one that was right for her. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. With that decision finally out of the way, we were able to start planning.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. The wardrobe for both the bride and the wedding party had been picked out already, so we were able to zero in on things that we’d need in order to put on the reception. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. There was no shortage of personalized wedding guest books to pick from, and the decorations on a big percentage of them were absolutely beautiful. We had our pick of adorable wedding pens that went with the guestbooks, too. We weren’t quite done picking things out yet and my daughter saw this wedding set with a white satin cover and bow, with rhinestones, that had six pieces. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. A
wedding guest book and pen came with it. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. All of the rest of it had been dealt with. A couple of doves formed out of glazed porcelain were what my daughter selected to put at the top of her wedding cake. The pair of doves will make an exquisite figurine that will help her memories of the wedding day last a lifetime. Every guest got a place card holder at the reception that was silver and in the shape of a picture frame. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. She did alright picking out her wedding accessories and reception supplies. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
It was a beautiful wedding, and the reception looked fantastic. Their first dance together made us all realize what a handsome couple this really was. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. I’m sure that when the time comes to pick out accessories and gifts for the baby shower, I’ll know right where to go. That website has everything you need for just about any occasion you are planning for. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.

The Top Site for Discount Wedding Candles.

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

There are tons of suggestions for great wedding favor gifts for the people invited to your wedding ceremony and party with you at your reception. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. I chose to go with candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. I bought hang tags that I found to be very special to go with the colorful favor boxes for everyones gift.
For each of our reception tables I ordered beautiful cheap wedding candles, just for display. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. You should see the fantastic cheap wedding candle for bridal showers, and all the choices there are for candle party favors for graduations, birthdays and other important events. It’s not just candles that my online store has, but they do have a heck of a selection of wedding and other party supplies and accessories.
I bought a complete five piece wedding set which has a wedding guestbook and matching pen set, flower basket, ring pillow and a very nice wedding garter. We saved a little money by being able to get so many of our accessories in a set like that at such a low cost. One of the best things about my online shopping store is the low cost, with so many items at discount prices, including candles wedding favors.
The cake topper we ordered was really unique and was worth a lot more than what it cost us. This lovely cake topper was a bride and groom figurine that were exact replicas of me and my fiance, and our guests were really astonished. All I had to do was send them a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they did the rest. The pink and red flowers on our lovely chocolate wedding cake with the three tiers was really a picture in itself. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We figured it would make more sense to let our guests have them as souveniers then to try to find a place to put 200 champagne flutes. We had enough momentos of our wedding day, like our photo album, topper, wedding guestbook with all the signatures and so much more. Our lovely five piece set that I ordered in gorgeous claret, had our guest book with a small area for little keepsakes, pages for the guests to put their names and list the gifts each guest brought. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them. Looks like a made a wise choice in wedding favors. We were told, by our guests, as we departed for our honeymoon, that it was a fantastic wedding and reception and they all hoped for the best for us. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.

Graduation Party Invitation!

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. At the top of the list was getting a birthday party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. That was the right thing to do. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and graduation party invitations, too, along with other things.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

Delightful Mikasa Crystals!

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I went to a wedding last week where they had mikasa crystal accessories on all of the reception tables. On every table were lovely mikasa wedding favors and mikasa crystal glasses. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. With all the mikasa accessories she had on the tables, it was a picture of elegance.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. For her centerpieces she had lovely pillar candles with a floral garnish surrounding them. Their choice of wedding favors were something to acknowledge too. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. They chose lovely little gift boxes with hang tags that said thank you to package our gorgeous mikasa crystal favors in.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. They did a fantastic job capturing the faces of the bride and groom. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. Seeing all those men as their excitement grew when the garter was being removed by the groom. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. What was really funny was that the winner of the garter toss was talked into participating by the other guys and he was a widower in his 70’s. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the best man said his speech and we toasted the bride and groom, it was time for their first dance together as man and wife. They looked so fantastic up there dancing together. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Finally it was time for the bride and groom to depart for their honeymoon, and we all said our good byes. Hawaii was the honeymoon destination, from what I was told by one of the guests. I’m sure their honeymoon will be just as wonderful as their wedding day was. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
I received my thank you note for my gift and my presence at the wedding and reception, after only two weeks. She must have sent out her thank you cards as soon as she got back from her honeymoon. She did let me in on her secret online wedding shopping site, where she supplied the mikasa crystal wedding and ordered that customized cake topper from. In fact, I’m getting ready to place my order right now for my mom and dad’s anniversary wedding.

Fantastic Jewelry Boxes on the Internet!

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

In my day, jewelry boxes were just a box that all the jewelry went in, but now, you can buy watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes and boxes that are specifically made for necklaces only. The array of jewelry boxes can be decked out in a plethora of styles and colors. The women who stood up in my daughter’s wedding all got a jewelry box from her, and she picked one out for herself as well. She purchased a lot of things besides that, including her accesssories and reception supplies. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. Prince Charming and his lovely princess was the theme that my daughter and her fiance went for. They pulled it off in stunning fashion, her with long flowing veil and him with his extravagant tuxedo. It was a picturesque wedding. After the ceremony was over my daughter and son in law left the church in grand style with a horse drawn buggy and a driver dressed in a top hat and tails.
We all met at the reception hall which she had elegantly decorated with lovely flower vases and tulle draped in a carousel fashion with little white twinkling lights. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and wonderful flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. She picked out tea light place card holders in the shape of silver doves that made the tables shine even more. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. For the men in attendance, a key chain with a frog prince on it was given to them as a wedding favor. The wooden, silver-plated, affordable jewelry boxes that each of the bridesmaids received had a black velvet lining. The date of the wedding and name of the happy couple were inscribed in the boxes. The bridesmaids were very appreciative of what my daughter gave them as a thank you gift. The jewelry box she got them looked very nice, but it was in fact a cheap jewelry box and I had one like it myself for a long time. The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
The three-layered wedding cake they had was topped in debounair fashion with a small castle as the wedding cake topper. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. The amount of money she saved was staggering considering that she didn’t skimp on quality. They were firm about the fact that they did not want us to cover the bills from the wedding even though, as parents of the bride, we made it clear to them that we expected to pay for everything.
I felt the warm tears flow down my face as the two of them gracefully floated around the floor for their first dance. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. The guys got so rowdy trying to catch the garter, during the garter toss, that they had me laughing to no end. Everything turned out perfect and my little girl got the kind of wedding and reception she always dreamed of. Now they are on a honeymoon she’s always dreamed of. I can hardly wait for them to get back and tell me all about the fantastic sights they saw.

Amazing Groomsmen Gifts!

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

A friend of mine told me about a wedding website that had fantastic wedding accessories and reception supplies at a great low cost, so we checked it out. It’s true, reasonable prices and many accessories to choose from starting with wedding invitations right down to wedding favor gifts. Along with all the super wedding accessories they also carry groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts. Of course, my wedding décor and the supplies I would need, I intended to buy there.
December was the month we planned on for our wedding date and I was determined to have a winter wonderland wedding, and with all the accessories they have to offer, I knew I’d have everything I needed to make it work. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You’d be surprised at the marvelous accessories I bought from there. I was able to find gifts for not only my bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy, but for everyone in our wedding party. My fiance was happy that they had so many cool cheap groomsmen gifts ideas for him to choose from.
He got each of them a mug as their groomsman favors, with the word groomsman printed on it. Now we had a groomsmen gift, gifts for my bridesmaids and everyone that was in our ceremony, so now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. There were so many wonderful gift ideas for a winter wedding to give to our guests. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. They each had little silver snowflakes as decoration. They each came in their own little favor box with a silver hang tag.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. I asked the baker to turn our top layer of the wedding cake into a ski slope, since the topper I picked was of a bride and groom on skis. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. After we cut the cake and had our toast done by my super brother in law, it was time for our bride and groom dance. I really felt like a princess in some kind of dream world while we glided across the floor, with everyone watching.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. The men in our wedding party really liked the wedding groomsmen gifts we had for them and my bridesmaids thanked me for theirs too. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
